Warsash, Hampshire, UK
The village of Warsash is located close to the River Hamble and has always been popular with the sailing community. It was once a fishing hamlet and has historic links with the ship building and marine industry.
Today it is an attractive yachting centre. The waterfront is host to a small marina overlooked by a striking black and white harbourmaster's Office and the Warsash Sailing Club.
The estuary is of national importance to wildlife and inland, the Hollyhill Woodland Park provides a 52 hectare natural woodland with formal lakes, a waterfall and unusual plant species.
We also have a pink Ferry service! The little ferry runs between the Hamble foreshore and Warsash (on demand) and carries up to about 12 passengers.
